and architectural mason for Able Memorials Ltd.
Edward Waller is the principle architectural mason and co-founder of
the highly successful firm Able Memorials Ltd. Established in 2001 Able
Memorials are rapidly developing and have recently expanded their facilities.
Edward trained for three years at York College achieving a distinction
in masonry. He also received the college award for outstanding craftsmanship
in his second year.
His work ranges from hand carved lettering and sculpture to fireplaces
and the conservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures.
All masonry work at Able Memorials is crafted using an air tool, hand
mallet and chisel. Local stone is used where possible although materials
have been sourced form as far a field as china.
As well as being able to supply new masonry a conservation and restoration
service is offered repairing existing masonry. |
